- Sow seeds thinly 1.5cm deep direct in growing bed in rows 18" (45cm) apart
- Keep the soil moist, and be careful not to over water
- When the young plants are strong enough to handle, thin to 12" (30cm)
- The young leaves make tasty spring greens
- Prefers a well cultivated soil
- Keep free from weeds
